A parent comment about Swim Lessons at the YMCA

Swimming lessons at the Peninsula YMCA have been fabulous for my 3 yr old daughter. In six months, I have seen vast improvement in her swimming: she can swim 2 lengths of the pool without assistance, she is able to dive to the bottom of the pool and retrieve objects without assistance, and perhaps most importantly, she has developed confidence in her own swimming abilities and an awareness of water safety that would save her life if necessary. Most important for my daughter though is that she looks forward to swimming lessons because they are fun!-Jennifer Pickering
